PROJECT ALERT NOTICE (NV) Continuing RDG deployment and gage repairs

Summary: Nevada continues response to recent high flows including gage repairs, RDG installations, and indirect measurements.

Northern NV - crews deploying 2 RDGs in the Walker Basin today and tomorrow. Another storm system coming in Tues/Weds of this week but should be colder, crews preparing for possible flooding.

Southern NV - crew out this past weekend checking CSGs. This week, crews focusing on Meadow Valley Wash and Virgin Basins repairing streamgages and flagging high water marks for indirect measurements. Gage located northeast of Caliente may have debris impacting the stage. NWS contacted DC about it and will try to send a crew today or will need to wait until later in the week due to storms over the next few days.

FEMA Region IX campaign identified highwater marks event in Eureka County. Planning to send crew out week of March 27th due to storms this week. May have surpassed previous HWMs yesterday.
