Date: Sat, 18 Mar 2023 12:00:16 EDT

Summary: One crew flagging high-water marks in Pajaro

Today, most field crews are taking the day off from gage repairs and high-flow and recession measurements caused by the storms earlier in the week. Most streamgages in the network are still at high flows, with 2 above minor flood stage.

One crew of two staff is flagging high-water marks in the town of Pajaro which was flooded after a levee breach earlier in the week.

Light precipitation in northern and central CA is forecast starting tonight and into Sunday. From Monday through Wednesday, a stronger system is forecast to bring more precipitation for most of the state, with heaviest precipitation in the Sierras, the central and southern coast, down to the transverse mountains and San Diego Mountains.
