PROJECT ALERT NOTICE (NV) NV Continues Response to Atmospheric River

Summary: Focusing on the Carson River Basin today
NVWSC has deployed three crews (6 people) to address high flows in the Carson River Basin today. More rain is forecast later this week with continued high flows. We cannot access two gages on the Carson because of heavy snow and/or high-flowing tributary issues, so we have temporarily activated a seasonal gage on NWIS to help cooperators with their operations. The seasonal gage will be visited sometime this week.
