PROJECT ALERT NOTICE (NV) High Water in Northern Nevada

Summary: Two flood crews have been deployed after rain on snow event
The Walker River and Carson River basins are experiencing high flows following a rain-on-snow event from a warm atmospheric river. Two gages in the Walker basin are in flood stage and the gage heights recorded at three gages have overtopped their active ratings. The Northern Nevada office deployed two flood crews (4 personnel) today to measure these sites.
