Summary: Minor to moderate flooding (NWS terminology) is occurring in Indiana and Ohio
Widespread 2 to 3 inches of rain have fallen in Indiana and Ohio yesterday, causing some streams to be in minor to moderate flood stage (NWS terminology). No specific watershed was especially hard hit as the rains fell over most of Indiana and the western half of Ohio.
There are no record peaks with this hydrologic event and all gages are working properly.
There are six crews measuring high water in Indiana and Ohio. Two crews are in the Fort Wayne area measuring smaller or newer gage sites and one crew is in southern Indiana measuring newer smaller sites. In Ohio, two crews are measuring sites in the Ottawa and Auglaize River basin and one crew is measuring sites in the Blanchard River basin.
