PROJECT ALERT NOTICE (MO) Crews responding to high water in West Central Missouri

Summary: Crews responding to heavy rain in West Central Missouri causing elevated stream levels.

The Central Midwest Water Science Center Lee's Summit Unit has two crews deployed to respond to high water in the West Central/Central vicinity of Missouri.

Planned response for today, streamflow measurements at:
Hickson Cr @ Columbia, MO
Lamine R nr Otterville, MO
South Grand R @ Archie, MO
South Grand R @ Urich, MO

Crews will be communicating measurement values to Unit Chief, Dan Armstrong (armstron@usgs.gov) who will post details to NWSChat.

NWS AHPS River Forecasts suggest moderate flooding at other locations through the week and the Lee's Summit Unit will continue to respond as weather and conditions dictate priority and opportunity.
