PROJECT ALERT NOTICE (DC MD) Chesapeake Bay Coastal Flooding

Summary: A significant coastal flooding event is being forecasted for the upper Chesapeake Bay area.
Tidal anomalies, gale force winds and several inches of precipitation are expected
to cause significant coastal flooding for the northern Chesapeake Bay area over the next 24-48 hours.
In response to this forecasted event, four crews from the MD-DE-DC WSC are deploying
approximately 10 SWaTH sensors in the Baltimore/Annapolis region.
