PROJECT ALERT NOTICE (NV) NVWSC responding to high water

Summary: Atmospheric river brings significant precip to western Nevada
The Carson City Field Office deployed two crews today to raise QW sondes at gages in the Lake Tahoe area and to get higher-flow measurements to extend the rating at 10348505 FRANKTOWN CK AT OLD US 395 NR FRANKTOWN. CRNFC is forecasting minor flooding or action stage at gages on the East Fork of the Carson River and Truckee River near Vista. Crews will be deployed on 10/25 to make high flow measurements where possible.
