Summary: MD-DE-DC Water Science Center storm response to the remnants of former Hurricane Ida
In response to the overnight and forecasted precipitation from the remnants of Hurricane Ida, field
crews from the MD-DE-DC Water Science Center are being deployed today and tomorrow to measure flows and collect
water-quality samples. Four crews from the Frostburg Field Office will be responding in
Western and Central Maryland; 2 crews from the Dover Field Office are deployed in Northern Delaware
and Northeast Maryland; and four crews from the Baltimore Office are deployed around the Baltimore-DC
metro area, all to measure flows. In addition, four crews from the Baltimore Office are deployed
in the Baltimore-DC Metro area to collect water-quality samples.
