PROJECT ALERT NOTICE (NH) Localized flooding in New Hampshire

Summary: Persistent rainfall has led to localized flooding through the Ashuelot River Basin in southwestern NH.

Southwestern New Hampshire received upwards of 5-6 inches of rainfall over the weekend, which has led to localized flooding in the Ashuelot River Basin.

One streamgage (01160350) has reached a peak of record streamflow (26-years).

One streamgage (01161000) has been damaged and will be repaired today.

Two crews have been deployed to the area to measure streamflow and repair the damaged streamgage.

The USACE maintains multiple flood control structures in the area and has been notified of USGS activities.
