PROJECT ALERT NOTICE (MO) Minor Flooding in Southeast Missouri

Summary: Minor flooding in Mississippi River Basin-St. Francis River and Mississippi River Basin-Big River
After moderate local rainfall, minor flooding has occurred in the St Francis and Big Rivers basins and bank full discharge measurements will be made. Todays measurements include St. Francis River near Mill Creek, MO, Big River below Desloge, MO, and Big River below Bonne Terre, MO. No peaks of record are anticipated at this time. All measurements will be entered into NWSChat Live.
