Last night, rainfall amounts of up to two inches led to small stream and flash flooding in the Cleveland, Ohio area. Antecedent ground conditions were relatively dry, so this event affected our smaller gaged sites in the Cleveland, Ohio area.
There were no peaks of record with this event. Two USGS crews are measuring medium-high flows, mainly to fill in rating gaps. The main cooperator, the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District was contacted and notified of our response.
