Summary: South Atlantic Water Science Center staff are deployed today making repairs and highflow measurements as a result of Tropical Depression Sally.
Rainfall totals in excess of 5 inches have been recorded in parts of Georgia from Tropical Depression Sally. Currently, the Tifton, GA Field Office has 4 persons out repairing gages and making streamflow measurements. The Norcross, GA Office has 11 persons out repairing gages and making streamflow measurements, and 12 persons collecting samples from automated samplers.
North Carolina and South Carolina are under tornado watches and flash flood warnings. Crews in NC and SC will deploy as Sally passes.
Two SAWSC employees are preparing to deploy to Lower Mississippi Gulf Water Science Center to assist with indirect measurements.
