PROJECT ALERT NOTICE (PR) Puerto Rico Flooding

Date: Fri, 31 Jul 2020 09:05:14 EDT

Summary: Rainfall from Tropical Storm Isaias of near 10 inches has left moderate to major flooding on the island.

The Puerto Rico office is planning to send two, possibly three crews of three people to begin flagging for indirect measurements in the Rio Tanama, Rio Grande de Manati basins. These two basins are in need of upper end rating confirmation as the post Hurricane Maria campaigns for indirects and step-backwaters left some questions that need answering. The rest of the network is in good shape and has new upper end rating confirmation based on Hurricane Maria flooding.
