PROJECT ALERT NOTICE (GA) USGS SAWSC continues response to floods in Georgia

Summary: USGS field personnel continue their response to recent significant rainfall in Georgia.
Eight crews from the South Atlantic Water Science Center-Norcross office are continuing to make flood measurements, repair damaged streamgages, and collect/process storm samples due to the significant rainfall in the North and Central Georgia area during the past two days.
