PROJECT ALERT NOTICE (OH) Minor flooding in Ohio

Summary: Minor flooding continues in Ohio and Indiana.

Over the weekend, Indiana and Ohio received one to three inches of rain with the heaviest rain falling in northwest Ohio and a swath of area from southwest Indiana to northeast Indiana. Minor flooding is occurring in numerous drainage basins in northwest Ohio as well as southwest, central and northeast Indiana.

Today, only one crew from the OKI WSC has been deployed to capture high flows in the Tiffin River drainage basin in northwest Ohio.

USGS is in contact with the Ohio water Development Authority, the National Weather Service and the US Army Corps of Engineers.
