Summary: Moderate to major flooding is occurring in north-western Vermont.
Northwestern Vermont received 2-4" of rainfall on saturated soil overnight which has led to moderate to major flooding in the region.
Currently, gage-heights at eight U.S. Geological Survey streamgages are exceeding National Weather Service (NWS) minor to moderate flood stages. Three of eight are expected to peak at major flood stage later today.
Three crews from the NH-VT Office are being deployed to the area to document high flows.
