PROJECT ALERT NOTICE (AZ) Flooding in Arizona

Summary: Moderate flooding in Arizona

Runoff caused by warm rain on snow has caused moderate flooding throughout the state of Arizona. The high evaluation drainage basins that were laden with snow are now flowing Bill Williams, Verde, Salt, Little Colorado, and Rillito River. Five crews from our Flagstaff Office are measuring flows on the Verde River and tributaries to the Verde River. One crew from our Tempe Office will fix the Salt River at Chrysotile gage. Three crews from our Tucson Office are measuring flows on the Rillito River. More rain is expected over the next three days.
