PROJECT ALERT NOTICE (KS) Wide Spread Moderate Flooding Throughout Central and Eastern Kansas

Summary: Wide spread moderate flooding is affecting many streams throughout central and eastern Kansas.

Several days of continuous rain throughout the central states region has resulted in moderate flooding impacting central and eastern Kansas. Flooding is currently active or forecast for the eastern half of the state with rainfall forecast to continue for the next 48 hours.

No streamgages have been damaged or destroyed, however three crews are deployed to obtain discharge measurements.
