PROJECT ALERT NOTICE (WI) Flooding in NW Wisconsin

Summary: Heavy rains bring flooding to northwest Wisconsin

Around 12" of rain fell Saturday night over far northwest Wisconsin causing flooding at several gages in the area. Several roads including a couple major highways were closed. A state of emergency was declared in Douglas County.

2 streamgages experienced peaks of record with AEPs of >0.002.

3 USGS teams are out collecting measurements.
