Summary: Flows above base throughout the Mid-Atlantic area allow for measurement of above-base streamflow and acquisition of water-quality samples in Maryland and Delaware.
Streamflow measurements and water-quality sampling continue on Saturday, May 19, 2018 in response to heavy rains during the balance of the preceding week. Measurements have been made in numerous small watersheds on Montgomery County, Maryland, as well as in several Maryland Counties in the central and southern Eastern Shore. Water-quality samples were collected in the Mattawoman Creek watershed in Charles Co., Maryland, and in the Plumtree Creek watershed in Harford Co., Maryland.
Today's field effort included three streamflow-measurement crews totaling six staff, and two water-quality sampling crews totaling three staff.
