PROJECT ALERT NOTICE (OH) Minor flooding in Ohio continues

Summary: Minor to moderate flooding continues in Ohio.

Minor to moderate flooding continues to be a problem in Ohio. The moderate flooding is confined to the Scioto River basin while minor flooding is concentrated in the Tuscarawas and Great Miami River basin.

USGS Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana has two crews out (4 people) and one crew is comprised of USGS and Miami Conservancy District personnel (2 people). One crew will focus on the Scioto River today, another crew will concentrate on the Tuscarawas River basin and the third crew will measure sites in the Great Miami River basin.

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Huntington West Virginia and Louisville Kentucky were notified of our actions and ongoing discussions with Miami Conservancy District will occur today and tomorrow.
