PROJECT ALERT NOTICE (MO) Moderate Flooding Southern Missouri

Summary: With a second round of heavy rain, moderate flooding has and is occurring in Southern Missouri.
Since yesterday morning a second round of 1-4 inches of rain has fallen throughout Southern Missouri.
6 crews of 2 technicians from the Rolla and Olivette field offices are scheduled to make minimum to moderate flood flow measurements today on the larger river basins.
USGS has been in contact through NWSChat with the NWS and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers regarding streamgage observations.
