PROJECT ALERT NOTICE (NH) Minor to moderate flooding in NH-VT

Summary: NH and VT are experiencing minor to moderate flooding from intense rainfall.

Central NH and south-central Vermont are experiencing minor to moderate flooding related to a series of intense storms that brought up to 4-inches of rain in less than 12 hours.

Currently 9 gages are above NWS flood stage in NH and VT. Most are experiencing AEP's around 20-50% whereas gages in western VT/eastern NH peaked at AEP's around 4-10%.

The NH-VT Office will be deploying to monitor streamflows in central NH.
