Summary: Wide-spread small basin river flooding throughout north-central Kansas.
Heavy rainfall following several days of scattered thunderstorms has resulted in wide-spread flooding throughout north-central Kansas. Flooding is currently occurring at 7 locations with numerous locations forecast to reach or exceed flood stage throughout the next 48 hours. The Kansas Water Science Center has deployed 4 field crews to obtain high flow measurements.
