Date: Fri, 05 May 2017 15:08:56 EDT

Summary: Flooding in Illinois is subsiding

Most rivers in Illinois have peaked and are now in recession following two rounds of significant rains over the last week. Currently all crews are done for the week and either back or heading back to the office. Over 45 measurements were made over the event and several QW samples and cross section surveys done as well.

All stations in the flooded area are operating and on-line.

We continue to be in contact with the NWS, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and other emergency managers as needed.
