    <p>Summary: A winter storm system that began moving across the region late Wednesday continues and is expected to bring more light but steady rainfall to parts of southern California through Saturday.</p>
    <p>Rivers and streams in southern California are responding to this event, some of which are experiencing elevated flows (95-98 percentile) or are expected to exceed flood monitor stage (11023000) on Saturday. The California Water Science Center deployed 8 crews on Thursday in the Poway, CA and Redlands, CA service areas. Today, only 1 crew is deployed; however, another 1-1.5 inches of rainfall is expected tonight in the greater San Diego area, so crews from Poway, CA are prepared for possible deployment tomorrow.</p>
