    <p>Summary: Flood response update for Maui</p>
    <p>Streams are receding following the floods of July 13, 2016.
<br>
A flash flood watch has been cancelled for the islands of 
<br>
Oahu, Molokai, Maui, Lanai, and Hawaii 
<br>

<br>
A field crew flagged high water marks at four gage sites in
<br>
west Maui. One crest-stage gage was over topped on another
<br>
was slightly damaged. Plans are to survey high water marks
<br>
next week. This is the final project alert for this event.
<br>

<br>
The USGS has been in contact with the National Weather Service, 
<br>
Corps of Engineers, and State and County agencies.</p>
