Summary: Moderate flooding occurred in Arkansas as a result of 2 to over 6 inches of rainfall during last 24 hours.
Northeastern and Central Arkansas have been the most impacted during this event. These areas have received rainfall totals of 2 to over 6 inches since noon Wednesday. Areas in Southern Arkansas had lesser rainfall totals but are still recovering from flooding from the earlier March events.
Schools and businesses were affected by the flood waters last night and this morning. Road closures were common in the in the low lying areas.
Currently, no gages have been damaged. Today 3 crews (6 hydrographers) are dispatching to 7 gages to make discharge measurements.
