Summary: The White and Arkansas Rivers are in moderate to major flood stage.
Flooding continues along the Black, White, And Arkansas Rivers.
Out of 150 or so continuous stations, approximately 32 of them, with an average of 45 years of record, experienced a top 10 peak flow. 24 of these experienced their top 5.
6 crews(12 people) were out today on these rivers. The Ruston office 1 crew(2 people) assisted on some of our southern streams.
4 gages were damaged or destroyed during this event. Two were repaired and the others should be back up next week and flagged for high water.
Measurements have been coordinated with the Little Rock Corps and National Weather Service on the White and Arkansas Rivers.
