Summary: Statewide flooding from Springfield Missouri trending northeast to St. Louis has persisted overnight.
Significant line of flooding continues with storm totals thus far ranging from 3 to 6 inches from Springfield to St. Louis Missouri.
Along this line of flooding many flashy creeks/rivers have continued to cause local damage, with some larger streams anticipated to crest above USGS streamgage period of record peaks.
Nearly 60 streamgages care urrently above flood stage in this path. High Water Mark flagging anticipated over the next few days for gaging locations in some of the St. Louis urban basins.
Currently (1) USGS streamgage damaged due to flooding. Five (5) USGS crews have been dispatched to make flood measurements at over 30 gaging locations.
