    <h1>PROJECT ALERT NOTICE (NC) Flooding in North Carolina</h1>
    <p>Date: Thu, 24 Dec 2015 09:16:41 EST</p>
    <p>Summary: Two to three inches of rain has fallen over a large portion of central North Carolina resulting in moderate flooding occurring or expected.</p>
    <p>The USGS South Atlantic Water Science Center has deployed 4 crews from the Raleigh Office today in areas of central North Carolina to measure streamflow and address streamgage reporting issues.  We do not anticipate having crews deployed on Christmas Day but will continue to monitor the event.</p>
