    <p>Summary: Hydrographers from the Pennsylvania Water Science Center deploy storm-tide monitors in advance of Hurricane Joaquin.</p>
    <p>In advance of Hurricane Joaquin, one 2-person crew from the Pennsylvania Water Science Center (PAWSC) - Exton office deployed storm sensors and rapid-deployment gages to characterize the storm effects in the Philadelphia area.  In total, 7 USGS states are responding to this event.  Within Pennsylvania, three rapid-deployment gages and 2 storm sensors were deployed to record storm conditions.</p>
