Summary: Minor to moderate flooding continues in western and northwestern Ohio.
Western and northwestern Ohio received up to an additional half inch of rain yesterday (June 18, 2015), however river levels are dropping in the area. Gaging stations in the Auglaize, Maumee Sandusky and Blanchard river basins have all indicated the crest occurred yesterday (June 18, 2015) . The remnants of Tropical Storm Bill are forecast to affect areas mainly south of the hardest hit areas. We will monitor the situation this weekend for the potential of obtaining additional high-flow measurements. Two USGS crews are on-call over the weekend.
USGS has three crews out today (June 19, 2015) totaling 6 people measuring high water in the Maumee, Auglaize and Blanchard river basins.
