    <p>Summary: Heavy rains in Central Illinois Illinois resulting in minor to moderate flooding</p>
    <p>Precipitation totaling 2-4 inches (with some higher localized totals) fell over most of Central Illinois yesterday (June 7, 2015) resulting in minor to moderate stream flooding throughout the middle third of the State. The extreme northern and southern extents of Illinois received minimal to no rain. The worst of the flooding is in the I-74 corridor.

USGS crews have been dispatched in response to this event. One crew was dispatched late yesterday to the northeast area of the flooding. Three additional crews will be dispatched today (totaling 4 crews - 8 staff members) and will do streamflow, sediment and water quality data collection.</p>
