Summary: Flooding over the past 5 days
Flooding, which started in Northwest Texas over the past weekend, has extended to other areas of the state. This is due to ongoing weather pattern than has brought widespread rainfall amounts of 4 to 8 inches, with as much as 10 inches in some areas. An additional 2 to 4 inches is predicted across the state today.
River basins that are experiencing elevated flows include the Red, Brazos, Cypress, Trinity Rivers.
Crews have been out over this past weekend, and continue to make high-flow discharge measurements. During the event over 40 discharge measurements have been made by 10 crews. As of now, no indirect measurements are anticipated.
