Summary: Flood events in the southern Arizona continue to progress to downstream gage locations on the Santa Cruz and San Pedro rivers.
Precipitation south of the international border with Mexico and in southern Arizona has all but stopped.
Staff from the Tucson Field office of the Arizona Water Science Center are continuing today with field work as flow events progress downstream in the San Pedro and Santa Cruz rivers. Discharge measurements are being made by a crew of two at the Santa Cruz River at Continental, AZ streamflow gage.
Discharge measurements on the San Pedro River are being made by two crews at two locations. One crew of two is making discharge measurements at the 09471000 San Pedro River at Charleston, AZ. A second crew of two is making discharge measurements at the 09471550 San Pedro River near Tombstone, AZ streamflow gage.
Staff could be reassigned to other gages for discharge measurements as the events progress further downstream.
