PROJECT ALERT NOTICE (PA)

Summary: Heavy rain over much of PA has caused moderate flooding in several streams.

Over 6 inches of rain has fallen since Monday in southeastern and central Pennsylvania resulting in moderate flooding in several streams and major flooding in the Brandywine and Neshaminy Creek basins. Flooding on most streams has peaked and is beginning to recede.

Six teams (12 people) from the Exton and New Cumberland offices are in the field today making high water measurements. Six teams were deployed yesterday and made 15 measurements.
