Summary: 3-5+ inches of rain over most of New Jersey has resulted in minor to moderate stream flooding throughout the State with some major flooding.
Precipitation totaling 3-5+ inches fell over most of New Jersey (excluding the far southeast) resulting in minor to moderate stream flooding throughout the State with some major flooding in the Raritan River and Assunpink Creek basins. The worst of the flooding is in a ban from Trenton north to Frenchtown and northeast up the I-95 corridor.
USGS crews have been dispatched in response to this event. One crew (2 staff members) was dispatched late yesterday to the northeast part of the State. Three additional crews were dispatched today (totaling 4 crews - 8 staff members).
