Summary: Minor to Major Flooding persist in areas of North and Central Alabama.
During the last seven days, some areas in north Alabama have received up to 6 inches of rainfall. Most areas in the northern portion of the state received greater than 4 inches of rainfall; while the lower half of the state received less than 2 inches of rainfall.
Four crews have be making discharge measurements at selected gaging stations over the past two days. Moderate to high flow measurement efforts have been focused on three sites in the Tennessee River basin, and sites in the Coosa, Cahaba, and Black Warrior River basins.
