PROJECT ALERT NOTICE () USGS Drought Activities in Georgia

Summary: The USGS continues to closely monitor the drought conditions in the State of Georgia for the benefit of numerous stakeholders.

HYDROLOGIC CONDITIONS: Drought conditions have eased significantly due to recent rains, with only the Savannah and Altamaha River Basins experiencing some level of hydrologic drought.

The Georgia Water Science Center continues to monitor the drought conditions, but there are no new activities to report at this time.
