The U.S. Drought Monitor shows the southern half of Montana in drought. The lack of rain has caused streamflows at most gages to decrease.
Streamgages: Currently 11 streamgages in Montana are in the less than 10 percent of flow category. Routine field trips are documenting the drought flow conditions.
