Subject: Recertification
of Motorboat Operators
The
attached amendment to U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Safety Manual 445-2-H,
Chapter 16 details bureau policy with regard to recertification of motorboat
operators. The subject policy provides
increased supervisory/employee flexibility and cost effective means to assure
appropriate employee competency, training, and documentation for employees who
operate motorboats. The subject policy
