The subject publication has been prepared to describe some aspects of the Federal-State Cooperative Program, and to provide information on selected accomplishments in fiscal year 1995. The report presents examples of significant investigations. It also provides information on hydrologic data-collection operations as well as selected activities in the Cooperative Program that are related to the National Water-Quality Assessment Program. Districts may want to provide the report to principal cooperators. Additional copies are available upon request to the Branch of Operational Support, Mail Stop 405. Robert M.
