QUALITY OF WATER BRANCH TECHNICAL MEMORANDUM NO. 83.01

Subject:  PROGRAMS AND PLANS--Water Quality Laboratory
            Services Catalog for Fiscal Year 1983

Attached is a copy of the 1983 Water Quality Laboratory 
Services Catalog and a set of dividers.  The Catalog has been 
revised in response to user comments and we believe the 
revisions have made it more useful in planning for and 
requesting analyses.  The Introduction, pages 1-1 through 
1-17, should be especially helpful.

The Catalog can be placed in the white binder previously 
furnished.  A limited number of new binders are available 
from either Central Laboratory.

Some costs for services have been lowered since WRD 
Memorandum 82.74 was issued in April, 1982.  the adjusted 
costs appear in the Catalog, along with new data on the 
precision of certain analytical methods.

Your suggestions for further improvements to the Catalog are 
always welcome and should be addressed to Herman Feltz, 
Analytical Services Coordinator.
