Lium The subject provisional method for algal growth potential (AGP) is attachcd. The hydrobiological section of the Doraville Central Laboratory will accept samples for determination of AGP beginning July 1, 1975. A limited number of samples can be processed now by special arrangement with Don Leifeste, Chief of the Doraville Laboratory . The analytical cost for the AGP determination is $30.0O per sample. The Central Laboratory code is 55. A parameter code for storing analytical data in the WRD and STORET systems has been requested. Questions or comments pertaining to the provisional Method should be directed to the Chief, Quality of Water Branch (Mail Stop 412, Reston, Virginia) . Quality af Water Branch Technical Memorandum No. 75.18 transmitted a briefing paper that explains the application of the method and its interpretation more fully. R. J.
