The theme of the Conference is Sediment and the Environment; therefore, the Geological Survey should have a very considerable input to this Conference. The purpose of the memorandum is to urge that this call for papers be brought to the attention of all interested individuals in each Regional, District, and Project Office. The WRD did not submit a list of names of potential authors as indicated in the opening paragraph, but requested that letters go to all District Chiefs, and Regionai Hydrologists for a more complete distribution.
