Subject: REPORT - Sampling Procedures and Problems in the
         Determination of Pesticide Residues in the
         Hydrologic Environment, by H. R. Feltz and
         J. K. Culbertson

In the attached report, Herman Feltz and Jim Culbertson 
discuss the importance of selecting the proper sampling 
methods and equipment for studying pesticides in the 
hydrologic environment. However, considerations dealt with in 
the report are applicable to sampling for many other water-
quality characteristics as well, and the report should prove 
to be of general interest to all WRD personnel engaged in 
water-quality investigations.
