Subject: Sediment--Particle-size analysis of suspended 
         sediment in native water

Beginning with the 1972 W.Y., particle-size analyses of 
suspended sediment in native water settling media will no 
longer be required.  This includes those samples obtained 
under the SCS trap-efficiency program. Samples collected 
after October 1, 1971, that have already been analyzed in 
native water may be published in the 1972 W.Y. basic data 
report if the district desires; however, it is not necessary 
to publish any native water size analysis for the 1972 W.Y.
