PUBLICATIONS--Transmittal of Report, "Twelve Selected Computer Stream Sedimentation Models Developed in the United States" In Reply Refer To: WGS-Mail Stop 415 January 31, 1990 OFFICE OF SURFACE WATER TECHNICAL MEMORANDUM NUMBER 90.07 Subject: PUBLICATIONS--Transmittal of Report, "Twelve Selected Computer Stream Sedimentation Models Developed in the United States" The subject report, edited by Dr. Shou-shan Fan, Chairman of the Interagency Ad Hoc Sedimentation Work Group, was prepared under the auspices of the Subcommittee on Sedimentation of the Interagency Advisory Committee on Water Data. A limited number of additional copies are available directly from Dr. Fan at the address given on the inside front cover of the report or from the Office of Water Data Coordination, U.S. Geological Survey, 417 National Center, Reston, Virginia, 22092. The work group found about 48 models that have been developed in the United States. Of these they selected 12 on which to report. There are six federally owned and six privately owned models described. The report provides summaries and flow charts of the models as well as more detailed discussions of the capabilities. This report should prove to be a valuable reference to those attempting to model stream-sediment interaction, or to those evaluating model results. Charles W.
